After all, why are you going to the event? Reflect on your expectations, interests and main problems experienced to help direct your participation. See what is in line with your objective and ask questions to be answered.

Scheduling is not only to define your participation or not. It also serves to provide clues and guide the search for complementary information on the Internet about the speakers and the relevance of the cases, especially when there are sessions that take place at the same time. In these situations, I also always suggest choosing a second option as plan B.

Don’t parachute at the event. Try to understand essential concepts and the minimum necessary to better absorb the cases that will be exposed. Events are intended to work on trends and not basic issues, so try to be on the same page.

Search the profile of the presenters and depending on your interest, try to schedule in the interval a more special interaction with whom you would like to extend a conversation because soon after the presentation, the speaker’s attention will be very disputed and you will not get a quality interaction.

It seems obvious to have to think about the route and a half to get to the event in advance, but if we consider the number of people arriving late, we realize that the mistake is common. Especially in large events, lunch can become a big headache because of the long lines, so program yourself and look for alternatives. Never think about going without food, because hunger will certainly hinder your concentration.
